Other Projects

Place of Change is a collaborative project between Oxford University Clinical Research Unit that was initially proposed by FFF, which is funded by the Wellcome Trust UK. It is a community engagement project that utilises the digital storytelling format to engage communities in creating personal health stories. Workshops

were conducted in intensive one-on-one sessions with community members from diverse groups such as intravenous drug users, mature-age commercial sex workers, ethnic minorities and animal farmers.  The short films examined topics surrounding HIV, STIs, Malaria, and Zoonoses.  The project is ongoing

and is now in its second phase with an extension period set to reach into the media archives and to reconnect with the same and like communities.  We are also excited to finally have opprtunity to explore new forms of media engagement through the production of new interactivity tools.
